When it comes to campaign management, political advertising and media relations — there is virtually no task the founder of the company, Ed Mitchell, has not performed successfully.
Ed Mitchell brings more than 30 years of experience at the top levels of government in Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania’s state capital — Harrisburg — to the needs of his clients.
Ed Mitchell began Edward Mitchell Communications in 1981 after four years as Administrative Assistant (chief of staff) and Press Secretary to Congressman Peter Kostmayer. Prior to that, he served for three years as Press Secretary and Communications Director to Pennsylvania Governor Milton J. Shapp. Ed has also been executive assistant to state Transportation Secretary, Jacob G. Kassab; executive assistant to the late New York Congressman Allard K. Lowenstein; a legislative assistant to former Pennsylvania Congressman Daniel J. Flood and Counselor to Pennsylvania Congressman Paul Kanjorski.
